How To Unlock New Brawlers In Brawl Stars

Unlocking new brawlers and getting to experience a new set of skills is a major part of Brawl Stars. There are more than 20 different brawlers in the game, all waiting to be unlocked. This guide covers the following ways to unlock new brawlers in Brawl Stars

Collecting trophies

You can unlock 7 new brawlers through the trophy road by collecting trophies. The trophy road is a series of rewards unlocked by collecting a certain amount of trophies. The more trophies you collect, the further along the trophy road you get, and the more rewards you unlock. Along this trophy road, players unlock the following 7 brawlers

  • Nita, unlocked at 10 trophies
  • Colt, unlocked at 60 trophies
  • Bull, unlocked at 250 trophies
  • Jessie, unlocked at 500 trophies
  • Brock, unlocked at 1000 trophies

Opening brawl boxes

Opening brawl boxes is another way to get new brawlers in Brawl Stars. Players can unlock 15 different brawlers by opening brawl boxes. This method is less reliable than collecting trophies, as getting a brawler from a brawl box is based on luck. According to BSU, there is a 0.55% chance of getting an epic brawler, a 0.25% chance of getting a mythic brawler, and a 0.1% chance of getting a legendary brawler from a brawl box reward. Note that each brawl box gives 3 rewards each. This makes it quite difficult to unlock a specific brawler that can only be unlocked from brawl boxes. However, if you keep opening boxes, you will eventually unlock your desired brawler. The following 15 brawlers are unlocked by opening brawl boxes

  • Poco
  • El Primo
  • Barley
  • Rico
  • Darryl
  • Penny
  • Piper
  • Pam
  • Frank
  • Mortis
  • Tara
  • Gene
  • Spike
  • Crow
  • Leon

Daily deals in the shop

Sometimes, new brawlers are available in the shop through daily deals. Acquiring a new brawler through this method, does, however, cost gems. When there is an offer in the shop for a new brawler, you don’t get to choose which brawler you get either, you will simply be given one with the named rarity. Below you can see an example of this, where you can purchase a rare brawler for 19 gems as a special offer, and for 30 gems in the regular daily deals section.
