Change Religion in CK3

Compared to its predecessor, Crusader Kings 2, CK3 managed to turn changing your religion into a very easy task.

First, you need to find the religion you want to turn toward:

  1. Click the Faith button in the bottom left corner of the screen (it will have a picture of the religion you currently follow).
  2. Open the Other Faiths submenu, which is situated on the upper side of the Faith menu.
  3. Uncheck the “Only *Your Religion* Faiths”.

You will now see all the religions currently available in CK3. Choose the religion you want to change to, and you will see all the details regarding it appear on the left.

Click the “Convert to Faith” button at the bottom of the menu, and now you will see the Piety requirements needed to actually change your CK3 religion.

There are a couple of modifiers that will decide how much Piety you need to use to convert to the new CK3 faith. Some will have positive effects on the Piety cost, while others will absurdly increase it.
