What is the City Hall

The City Hall is a magnificent landmark and the most important building in your city in Rise of Kingdoms.

It is the foundation on which all the other buildings hang.

Overall, it keeps a watchful eye on the development of troops, technological research, construction of buildings, the gathering of resources, and everything else.

Before you improve on anything else in your city, you must upgrade your City Hall first.

That’s because it determines the maximum level of all the other buildings in your city.

No other building level in the city can be higher than that of the City Hall.

The City hall determines the upper limit for technological research, the number of troops that can be taken into the hospital, the number of troops that can be controlled by the commanders, and the dispatches that can be sent out.

Furthermore, some buildings in the game require you to have your City Hall at a specific level before they can be built.

Why you should upgrade your City Hall

Given the many benefits of upgrading your City Hall, we recommend you seek to get your City Hall’s level up quickly.

Just some of the benefits of upgrading your City Hall include;

  • Access to new buildings and higher levels of existing buildings.
  • Technological advancement.
  • Rewards from City Hall upgrades.
  • Expansion of your hospital.
  • Higher troop capacity – each commander will have more troops to help fight barbarians, gather resources, and fight enemy troops.
  • More dispatches because of higher troop capacity, which results in faster work, more resources, and progress.

Throughout the game, you should, of course, also upgrade other buildings and construct new ones, but the City Hall should definitely be your main focus.
