What to Do With a Golden Pumpkin in Stardew Valley
There are only three things you can do with the Golden Pumpkin in Stardew Valley:

- Gift it.
- Use it to craft the Witch Hat.
Selling the Golden Pumpkin
The most obvious solution here is to just sell the Golden Pumpkin. As the description of the item says, “It’s valuable but has no other purpose”.
The exact value you can sell it for is 2,500 g, which is not necessarily amazing at this point in the game, but it is a “free” item, so to speak.
To sell the Golden Pumpkin, just drop it in the Shipping Bin, and you will get the 2,5k gold the following day.
Gifting the Universally Loved Golden Pumpkin
The Golden Pumpkin is one of the few universally loved items by all the villagers in Stardew Valley.
Even items such as the Prismatic Shard or the Rabbit’s Foot have one person who hates them, but the Golden Pumpkin is different.
You can gift the Golden Pumpkin to any villager in Pelican Town, and they will all love it.
If you have more than enough money and want to quickly get some friendship points with a fellow villager, then gifting the Golden Pumpkin would be a great idea for you.
Crafting the Witch Hat
If you’ve managed to get at least 1 piece of Cloth, then you have likely unlocked the Sewing Machine inside Emeily’s house.
At this device, players can craft various clothing using Cloth and a different material alongside it.
If you use a Cloth and a Golden Pumpkin at the Sewing Machine in Stardew Valley, you will get the Witch Hat, which looks really cool but has no use outside of that, as all the hats in the game.
