There are a lot of villagers in Stardew Valley that you can befriend if you spend the necessary time talking to them and getting to know them. Some of these villagers are more interesting than others, as you can romance them.

One interesting romanceable character that all players will want to befriend is Elliot. Though he might seem like an incredibly mysterious guy and a bit snobby, he is actually very interesting and you can only discover this by seeing his friendship events.

Where Does Elliot Live in Stardew Valley?
Usually, the best way to find where someone is located in Stardew Valley is to wait in front of their house when they start their day.
The exact time when an NPC leaves their house can be very different, but this is what this guide will help you with. Elliot lives in Elliot’s Cabin, on the Beach, right next to the entrance to Pelican Town.
If you open your map, you just need to look a bit down from Pelican Town, a bit over the Fish Shop. If you hover over the little brown shack, you will find Elliot’s Cabin.

Luckily, Elliot will spend most of his time trying to work in his cabin or walking around the Beach. Depending on the season, you can occasionally find him in the Stardrop Saloon or in the Library/Museum.
If you know what gifts Elliot likes, you can easily get to 2 hearts and access his room every day to get some more friendship points.
Elliot’s Schedule in the Spring
Elliot has a relatively chaotic schedule where he likes to walk around a lot, probably looking for inspiration for his book.
So, here is the exact schedule that Elliot follows on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday:
- Leaves the house at 12 PM to stand on the beach, right next to his house.
- At 1:30 PM he goes back into the house and spends some more time standing around.
- At 3 PM he will leave the cabin and stand on the bridge north of the Beach.
- Finally, at 6 PM, he goes back home and doesn’t leave.
On Thursdays Elliot will leave his house at 11:30 AM to buy some groceries from Pierre’s Store, coming back to his house at 5:30 PM.
On Fridays and Sundays, Elliot will head over to the dock next to Willy’s Shop at 12 PM. At 5 PM, he will go to the Stardrop Saloon for some light drinking, finally going back to his cabin at 11:40 PM.
Elliot’s Schedule in the Summer
During the Summer in Stardew Valley, Elliot will keep the same schedule on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
However, his “daily” schedule (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday) changes to this:
- Leaves the cabin at 11:30 AM to stand around in the forest south of Leah’s Cottage.
- At 6 PM, Elliot returns home.
Elliot’s Schedule in the Fall and Winter
During the Fall and Winter in Stardew Valley, Elliot will stay consistent and keep the same schedule on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. However, his daily schedule changes to this:
- Leaves the cabin at 11:30 AM to read at the Museum.
- At 5:30 PM, Elliot returns home.
Schedule Deviations
On rainy days, Elliot will just stand inside his house. If you don’t have 2 hearts with him, there is no chance you will actually see him during those days.
Another thing that changes in his schedule is that he will follow the Thursday pattern on Friday as well, if you have at least 6 hearts with Leah.
This is probably because they used to hang out together on Fridays, but now that she likes you, Elliot just goes shopping instead.
The only other deviation from the schedule is that, on Summer 9, he leaves his home at 10:30 AM for his yearly check-up at Harvey’s Clinic and starts going back to the house at 4 PM.
