Ring Fit Adventure is an exciting game that will keep you entertained while also giving you an awesome workout.

In this game, you’ll move through different levels and worlds and defeat villains by completing exercises.

Some examples of moves you may complete are jogging in place, yoga poses, shoulder presses, and squats.

You can also do quickplay, which are fun minigames focusing on particular moves.

If you’re looking for more structure, you can do a formal workout right from the game by creating your own exercise routine.

To play the game, you will need the Ring-Con, which is the main control used for gameplay.

This controller functions as a pilates ring, with one joy-con from the Nintendo Switch.

The other joy-con is attached to a leg strap that comes with the game as well.

These controllers together allow the game to get an accurate sense of how your body is moving in space.

Experienced players report that Ring Fit Adventure is fun-filled and addicting while also providing a great workout.

With all of the moves incorporated into the game, you’ll certainly move your body and get your heart rate up while moving through all 100+ exciting levels.

Fitness Boxing 2

Fitness Boxing 2 is a game that is very similar to other Nintendo titles like Wii Fitness.

By default, it is played one-on-one between you and your virtual instructor, with different body movements and cues coming up on the screen.

No extra parts or hardware are required for this game. You just need a joy-con in each hand!

In this game, you learn and practice boxing moves to the beat of a song of your choosing.

Everything from the look and personality of your instructor to what moves you make is completely up to you!

The game also has a system for setting up workout reminders.

You can spend one song working on your form, taking it slow and methodical. And then the next song could be fast and upbeat, working on your speed.

If you are feeling competitive or prefer to work out with a friend, two Switches can be utilized to work alongside one another in head-to-head or cooperative gameplay.

Fitness Boxing 2 also has a built-in tracker for recording your workout statistics and watching your progress.

Just Dance 2022

Just Dance 2022 is very similar to its predecessors. You dance according to the moves on the screen along with the onscreen characters.

With a Joycon in each hand, this game will have you moving and grooving in absolutely no time!

The gameplay is very versatile, depending on what you choose. You can do modes like quickplay or shuffle that put you right into a random song or pick from the extensive included songs list.

If you want to get everyone at your house party hopping, you can play a tournament amongst your friends.

You can even challenge others online with the World Dance Floor mode if you want to test your skills against players worldwide.

While using your feet is not required, you would be majorly missing out by not getting them involved in this heavy rhythm and dance-based game.

Playing the game and finishing songs lets you earn the in-game currency called Mojo. Mojo can be used to buy capsules from the Gift Machine in-game.

These capsules contain various cosmetic items such as alternate outfits or player titles.

Just Dance 2022 also features a Kids Mode. In the Kids Mode, moves are significantly easier, and scoring isn’t as harsh. It also features a bunch more kid-friendly songs.

The base game comes with 41 songs, but an additional 600 can be unlocked with a subscription to Just Dance Unlimited.

Mario Tennis Aces

If you are looking for a standard tennis game, you are looking in the wrong place with Mario Tennis Aces.

With a variety of different modes, playstyles, and features, you have got hours of fun content to choose from.

In this game, the ball is in your court! Like with a real tennis match, there are many different ways to play the game.

You can play aggressively, trying to score points or even break your opponent’s racket! You can also play defensively, blocking shots and choosing your moments carefully.

You can play one-on-one locally with a friend or family or online against a player from anywhere in the world.

You can also team up in thrilling two-on-two matches!

It’s a game of timing and quick reflexes, perfect for working on honing your skills or your arm muscles.

While you can use the joy-con as a normal controller, you can also hold it in your hand like a tennis racket. This game can give you a real workout if you play holding the joy-con like a racket.

Your character in the game then reflects the moves you make. Your character will do the same when you swing to hit the ball or make a trick shot.

The game also features an adventure mode, local cooperative or versus play, and even online tournaments!

If playing with fantastical powerups or special abilities is not your idea of a good tennis game, you can turn off all of them and play the simple mode, which resembles real-life tennis.

ARMS

Arms, or ARMS if you are feeling enthusiastic, is a head-to-head fighting game with a variety of twists.

Holding a joy-con in each hand, you dodge, jump, and of course, punch your way through the competition in a selection of game modes.

In ARMS, your character has springy, slinky-like arms with gloves or other objects in the place of hands.

When you go to punch, the arm launches out toward your opponent before retracting back to you.

ARMS has a total of 10 characters for you to choose from and up to 30 different arms, whereas ‘arms’ refers to your punch-happy weapons of choice.

Each character and arm have their own unique feel and playstyle.

Characters range from being agile and tricky to slow and tanky.

The real stars of the show are the arms. Each one drastically changes how you play the game and how your opponent plays against you.

You can have two different arms equipped at the same time for even more variety!

On your left hand, you could have a slow but hard-hitting wrecking ball, and on your right hand, you could use a quick player-seeking missile!

You can play the game locally or online with up to 8 players, and there is a good selection of game modes. One of them has you physically dunking your opponent through a large basketball hoop!

In this game, you will be climbing to the top of the leaderboard and sweating while you do it.

Not all of the game modes pit you in a fight against another player.

Some of them are competitions to hit targets or score points in a game quite similar to volleyball.

Go Vacation

Compared to the other games on this list, Go Vacation is definitely the most unique.

It’s a surprising mix of multiple different games and genres with hours of content, great for individual play or up to 4 people cooperative play.

It is a whole shelf of other games mixed into one and themed like you are on an all-expenses-paid vacation!

The game starts you out on an island with four distinct zones, each containing a large variety of things to do. These include mini-games, sports activities, photographing animals, talking to other characters, and much more!

Go Vacation is an open-world discovery game for the first few hours, trekking across the island to find all of the mini-games and uncovering little secrets.

Once everything has been found, you can easily hop into your favorite activities alone or with friends.

You could start in the City, taking a car to the mountains, where you switch to an ATV or even a horse to traverse the peaks.

At the summit, you can hop on a snowboard or a pair of skis and ride the snow all the way back down.

You can unlock different outfits for your characters and even have access to a personal Villa that you can decorate however you like!

Take your dream vacation right from your home! The open-world game and the individual activities can be played using the joy-con as a controller or with motion controls to really put you in the moment!

With a whole island-worth of fun things to do, you could be up and moving for hours.
