As you fight your way through Sanctuary and explore new areas and increase your Renown in Diablo 4, you’ll encounter new game systems you didn’t know exist.

One of the new systems in Diablo 4 that not everyone knows is the Realm Power system.

Realm Power is a permanent stat boost you get in Diablo 4 by discovering new Altars of Lilith and completing Renown milestones. These stat boosts are shared across the entire account, meaning all other characters on your account also receive the stat increases, not just the character who discovered a new Altar of Lilith or reached a new Renown milestone.

What is Realm Power in Diablo 4?

There are many ways to make your character stronger in Diablo 4, and several of them simply involve playing the game and discovering new areas and monuments.

The term “Realm Power” is one that you’ll see quite quickly in the game.

Realm Power in Diablo 4 is one of the systems in the game that boosts the stats of all your characters on your account permanently once acquired.

When you receive additional Realm Power in the game, you receive one of the following permanent stat boosts:

  • +2 Strength (Altar of Lilith)
  • +2 Intelligence (Altar of Lilith)
  • +2 Willpower (Altar of Lilith)
  • +2 Dexterity (Altar of Lilith)
  • +5 Max Murmuring Obol Capacity (Altar of Lilith)
  • +1 Paragon Point (Altar of Lilith)
  • Bonus XP (Renown Milestone)
  • Gold (Renown Milestone)
  • Skill Points (Renown Milestone)
  • +Max Potion Capacity (Renown Milestone)
  • +Max Murmuring Obols (Renown Milestone)
  • Paragon Points (Renown Milestone)

How to get Realm Power in Diablo 4

You increase your Realm Power in Diablo 4 by discovering and interacting with Altars of Lilith and reaching new Renown milestones in a region.

As the Realm Power stat boosts are shared across the entire account, you can only claim the Realm Power from a specific Altar of Lilith on one character on the same account. The same goes for renown milestones. They can only be acquired once per account.

What stat boost you get from a specific Altar of Lilith or a renown milestone is fixed, meaning that all players end up with the same number of stat boosts in each of the above-listed stats when you’ve collected all of them.
