Even though you might already have your friends added on the platform you play on, you still have to add them in Lost Ark as well.
Note that you have to be on the same server as your friends to play with them. Therefore, your friend group should plan to play on the same server if you wish to play together.

Here is how to add friends in Lost Ark:
- Open Lost Ark
- Click the ‘U’ key on your keyboard or click Community, then Friends in the bottom-right menu
- Click the Friend Request button at the bottom of the Friends window
- Type in the name of your friend and click OK
- Your friend will now receive a friend request that they can accept
Upon accepting your friend request, you two will be friends in Lost Ark.
Even though you might already have added your friends on the platform that you play Lost Ark, like Steam, you will still have to add them inside Lost Ark to play together.
How to create a party with friends in Lost Ark
Now that you’ve added your friends in Lost Ark, it’s time to team up and play together by creating a party.
To create a party with your friends in Lost Ark, open the Friends window, right-click the friend that you wish to party up with, and click Party Invite.
When you’re friend accepts the party invite, you’ll be in a party.
To add more friends to the same party, just follow the same steps with each friend you wish to invite.
Again, note that you need to be on the same server you to party up with your friends.
