Players stopping by Varrock may eventually find their way east to the Digsite. This location has a couple of different clue steps, the boat that goes to Fossil Island and is right next to the Lumberyard, the Eart Altar, and one of the Balloon Transport service locations.

Needless to say, you will visit this place a couple hundred times throughout your Old School RuneScape career.

How to Get Digsite Pendant in Old School RuneScape

In Old School RuneScape, having available teleports to distant locations is key to having efficient account progression.

Still, don’t let that stop you from taking the time to explore Gielinor on your own every once in a while.

The Digsite is just far enough away from a Varrock teleport to be an annoyance to travel to. Thus, when the Digsite was introduced into the game, it came with a handy jewelry item that players could use to reach it.

First in foremost, before you can learn how to make Digsite Pendants on your own, you will need to have completed “The Dig Site” quest.

Thankfully, it is not that long of a quest, nor does it have any tough requirements.

“The Dig Site” Quest Requirements:

  • 10 Agility
  • 10 Herblore
  • 25 Thieving

Finding the Clean Necklace

Once you have completed the quest, head over to the Varrock Museum, specifically to the cleaning area. Check the nearby tool rack to make sure you have the tools you need in your inventory.

Once you are ready, you can start checking the “Uncleaned finds” on one of the benches.

In the process, you will get other artifacts that can be turned in for Varrock Museum Kudos, as well as occasionally getting an Antique Lamp that can be rubbed for 500exp in any skill.

What you are looking for is a “Clean necklace”, which will be spotted in your inventory. It looks exactly like a Ruby necklace and has a 1/51 chance of appearing from an Uncleaned find.

After finding a Clean necklace, you can take it to one of the nearby workers, who will teach you how to turn it into a Digsite pendant.

Then, you can use a Lvl-3 Enchant spell or an Enchant Ruby tablet on a Ruby necklace to make yourself a charged Digsite Pendant!

Teleporting with the Digsite Pendant

Each Digsite pendant will hold up to 5 charges and cannot be recharged individually.

Upon expending the last teleport charge, the pendant itself will be destroyed, so be sure to make plenty of them at a time to store in your bank.

There are three different teleport options that you can take with the Digsite Pendant, each of them with its own requirement before you can use it.

Digsite Teleport

  • Teleports just north of the Digsite.
  • Unlocked as soon as you earn the Digsite pendant.

House on the Hill Teleport

  • Teleports to the upper floor of the house on Fossil Island.
  • Unlocked after using the Digsite Pendant on the Strange Machinery in the house after completion of the “Bone Voyage” quest.

Lithkren Vault Teleport

  • Teleports to the Lithkren Vault that has Adamant and Rune Dragons.
  • Unlocked after using the Digsite Pendant on the Strange Machinery in Lithkren after completion of the “Dragon Slayer II” quest.

That is how you get the Digsite Pendant in Old School RuneScape!
