Most MMORPGs have an auction house where players can buy and sell items and resources between each other, and Lost Ark does too.
Many players have trouble finding and accessing the auction house in Lost Ark, though.

At the beginning of the game, you cannot access the auction house, also known as AH for short.
The auction house in Lost Ark unlocks when you reach character level 30, at which point you can freely access it anytime.
After you’ve unlocked the auction house, you can access it by visiting Market Broker NPCs in major cities like Luterra Castle or from anywhere in the game by clicking the auction house icon in the menu under the minimap in the top-right corner.

How to access the auction house in Lost Ark
You can access the auction house in Lost Ark by visiting a Market Broker NPC in any of the major cities in the game, including Luterra Castle.
Alternatively, you can access the auction house by clicking the gavel icon in the menu right below the minimap in the top-right corner. You can access AH from anywhere using this icon.
If you don’t see the auction house icon in the menu under your minimap, click the three bars on its far right, and click the ‘+’ icon next to Market under Add Widget to add it to the menu.
If your menu under the minimap already is filled up with widgets, remove one first by clicking the ‘-‘ next to one and then add the Market to the menu.
Unlike other games where you can access the auction house from the start of the game, you need to be level 30 in Lost Ark before you can use the auction house.
How to use the auction house in Lost Ark
Inside the auction house, also known as Market in Lost Ark, there are two overall tabs – Market and Auction House.
In the Market tab, you can sell all tradeable items that aren’t equipment, which includes everything from mounts and pets to Adventurer’s Tome items and Trade Skill items.
Here is a full list of everything you can buy and sell in the Market tab:
- Equipment Chests
- Engraving Recipes
- Enhancement Materials
- Combat Supplies
- Cooking Items
- Trade Skill Resources & Items
- Adventurer’s Tome Items
- Sailing Materials, Skins, & Chests
- Gem Chests
You can only list items in the Market with a buyout price, which means people cannot bid on them. They have to pay the full listed price to purchase an item.
In the Auction House tab, you can buy and sell Gear, Accessories, Ability Stones, and Gems.
There are several filters you can use in the Auction House tab to make sure you’re finding the type of equipment or materials that you need.
Unlike in the Market tab, items are listed as an auction with a starting bid and a buyout (Buy Now) price in the Auction House tab.
Players can either choose to bid on an item they like or purchase it instantly by paying the Buy Now price.
If you have placed the highest bid on an item when the auction for that item ends, and no one else has purchased it for the Buy Now price, you win that item and receive it in exchange for the price you bid.
Items that receive at least one bid cannot be withdrawn from the auction house and will be sold to the highest bidder or the player who buys it for the Buy Now price.
You should, therefore, make sure to put a starting bid that you are comfortable with selling an item for, as players can only bid higher than the starting bid.
An item that hasn’t received any bids can be withdrawn from the auction house. If an item doesn’t receive any bids at the time its auction time runs out, and no one purchases it for the Buy Now price, it’s returned to the owner.
To sell items on the auction house on either the Market tab or Auction House tab, click the Add Item (Market) or Register (Auction House) button in the bottom-right corner, select the item you wish to sell, set your prices, and click Add.
That’s how to access and use the auction house in Lost Ark!
