The ghostly port of Morytania, Port Phasmatys, is home to the Ectofuntus, multiple shops, and quest starting points.

While it is often used as a transportation hub to reach Harmony Island and Mos Le’Harmless, there are still valuable services that players can access.

Unsurprisingly, it can be tricky to reach the far end of Morytania. Thankfully, you can use a couple of shortcuts and transportation methods to reach straight to Port Phasmatys.

You can get to Port Phasmatys in OSRS by either using an Ectophial to teleport directly there, using a Fairy Ring to reach the nearby Farming Patch, using a Charter Ship to sail there, or by teleporting to Fenkenstrain’s Castle and running west.

How to Get to Port Phasmatys in OSRS

Before you can reach Port Phasmatys, there are a couple of requirements to access the town itself.

First, you must have completed the “Priest in Peril” quest to cross the River Salve and enter Morytania. The quest itself isn’t difficult and has no hard skill or quest requirements to complete.

For Port Phasmatys itself, you must spend two Ecto-Tokens to enter the town. Ecto-Tokens are earned by offering Bones and Buckets of Slime to the Ectofuntus and talking to the Ghost Disciple.

However, once you complete the “Ghosts Ahoy” quest, you can enter Port Phasmatys without paying two Ecto-Tokens.

It is worth noting that almost all of the residents and services of Port Phasmatys require a Ghostspeak Amulet to talk to.

Teleporting With An Ectophial

After completing the “Ghosts Ahoy” quest, you will be rewarded with an Ectophial, which can teleport you directly to the Ectofuntus an unlimited number of times.

This is by far the quickest way to reach Port Phasmatys, as it is the closest teleport location to the town itself.

Using Fairy Rings

Like other locations in Old School RuneScape, Fairy Rings are one of the best ways to travel all over Gielinor. Fairy Rings can be used after you at least partially complete the “Fairytale II – Cure A Queen” quest.

The closest Fairy Ring to Port Phasmatys is Code ALQ, which will take you next to the farming patch West of the town.

Using Charter Ships

Charters can also be used to reach all the different Ports of Gielinor, including Port Phasmatys.

From another Charter, you can reach Port Phasmatys for a fee between 1k-5k (varies depending on where you are sailing from).

While a bit unconventional, this is a nice way to reach the town if you do not yet have an Ectophial or access to Fairy Rings.

Keep in mind that to use a Charter to Port Phasmatys, you will need to have entered Morytania at least once.

Teleporting To Fenkenstrain’s Castle

As a last resort, you can teleport to Fenkenstrain’s Castle next to Canifis and run East to Port Phasmatys.

You can either cast the spell directly from the Arceuus Spellbook (which requires 48 Magic, an Earth Rune, a Law Rune, and a Soul Rune) or use a Fenkenstrain’s Castle Teleport Tab.

That is how to get to Port Phasmatys in Old School RuneScape!
