In update 15 of Anime Fighters Simulator, it was announced that a new ultra-rare divine rarity was added to the game.

Divine characters, also known as fighters, are stronger than secret characters, making them the strongest in the game.

Given that they are stronger than even those of secret rarity, divine characters are incredibly rare and much harder to obtain than secrets.

Divine characters are unlike any other character in the game, not bound to a specific star in a specific world. They can be opened in multiple worlds. Find more details below.

You get divine characters in Anime Fighters Simulator by opening stars. The later the world you open stars in, the more divine characters you have a chance to get.

Because the chance to get a divine character is so incredibly low, you should max open stars overnight to have the highest chance of obtaining one. Doing regular auto-opens will probably take weeks of opening before you get a divine.

What are divine characters?

Divine is a new rarity that characters can be in Anime Fighters Simulator.

The divine rarity was added to the game as of update 15 and is the highest rarity.

Fighters of the divine rarity are the strongest in the game but are also the hardest to obtain. They are both rarer and stronger than secret characters.

Check how well divine characters rank compared to other characters in the game in our Anime Fighters Simulator Characters Tier List.

Divine characters are not visible in the character index of stars, just like secret characters.

If you manage to obtain a divine character in the game, you’ll unlock a new ‘divine’ tab in the character index where you can see all divine characters.

At the moment, there are five divine characters in the game, and they are not bound to a specific world like all other characters. They can be obtained in multiple worlds.

Even the weakest divine character in the game, Vegetable, is stronger than many of the shiny secret characters.

How to get a divine character

Characters of the divine rarity are the hardest to obtain in the game, given the immensely low open chance they have.

The only way to obtain divine characters in Anime Fighters Simulator is to open stars.

Like secret characters, divine characters do not show up in the list of characters that you can get from a star, and thus the probability of you getting one from an open is unknown.

We do, however, know that the probability of getting a divine character is much lower than getting even a secret character.

You will likely need to open a million to several millions of stars on average to get a divine character in the game, depending on your luck stat.

Therefore, we recommend using the AFK max open strategy when farming for divine fighters, described in the next part of this guide.

All other characters, including secret characters, can only be obtained from the star in a specific world.

Divine character, on the other hand, can be obtained from stars in several different worlds.

The more powerful a divine character is, the fewer worlds you can obtain it from.

Here is an overview of in which worlds you can obtain each divine character:

  • Vegetable = Any world in the game
  • Great Ninja = Walled City and later worlds
  • Hernando = Empty Dimension and later worlds
  • Engineered Alien = Lucky Kingdom and later worlds
  • Red Bat = Land of Alchemy and later worlds
  • Flaming Hero = Icy Wastes and later worlds

As you can tell from the list above, you have a chance to get several of the divine characters from later worlds and only one from the first couple worlds.

Fastest way to get divine characters

The probability of getting a divine character in Anime Fighters Simulator is incredibly low.

Therefore, it is highly recommended that you do not simply auto-open stars until you get one, as it will take an extremely long time, even when you have all star opening upgrades and boosts.

The fastest way to get divine characters in the game is by using the AFK max open strategy.

How the AFK max open strategy works is that you set up a macro using a program like TinyTask, to automatically max open, then auto-open stars till the cooldown from max open have passed, and then perform another max open.

You should, of course, enable auto-sell so that your inventory slots do not get filled up. We recommend keeping mythical shinies and perhaps also regular mythicals, depending on your progress in the game.

With a program like TinyTask, you can record your mouse clicking on max open, then the open button, then clicking auto in the star, and then after 90 seconds clicking the stop button to stop auto-opening stars, after which you want to replay the sequence over and over again.

Most players keep this macro playing overnight by leaving their computer or phone running while having the program replay the sequence.

Using the max open feature with auto-open in between the max open cooldown is how you can open most stars per hour and is thereby the fastest way to get divine fighters, as it’s all about opening as many stars as possible.

There are a few things that you need to make sure you have before you start using the AFK max open strategy:

  • Multi-open tokens
  • Tons of character slots
  • Star boosts and upgrades
  • Luck boosts and upgrades

You need multi-open tokens to perform max opens, and if you plan on farming for divine characters in a later world, you need a bunch of them.

The max open feature allows you to instantly open stars equal to the number of character slots left in your inventory. In other words, to instantly fill your entire inventory with characters.

Therefore, you need to have unlocked as many character slots as possible from upgrades or Robux boosts so that you can open more characters at a time from a single max open.

Once you’re set up to do max opens, you should make sure that you can summon many characters at once and that you can do it quickly by having as many star upgrades and boosts as possible. You need this for the auto-opens you’ll be doing in between max opens.

The last thing that you can do to get divine characters faster is to increase your luck stat, which increases the probability of you getting a divine character. You can increase your luck stat by unlocking and using luck upgrades and boosts.

As you can get divine characters from multiple worlds in the game, we recommend that you do the AFK max open strategy in the lowest world that the divine character you are looking for can be obtained.

For example, if you are trying to get a Vegetable, go AFK max open in Super Island, and if you’re after a Hernando, go AFK max open in Empty Dimension.

The reason why you want to go for the lowest world where you can still obtain a specific character is because of the multi-token cost for max opens.

If you AFK max open in Super Island, you can very quickly farm enough multi-open tokens to AFK max open all night long.

It is likely that the later the world you open in, the higher the probability of getting the same divine character compared to the previous world, but the multi-token cost still makes it so that you should go for the lowest world.

All divine characters list

Divine characters do not appear in any index or list characters in stars before you obtain one yourself, at which point they will appear in the character index.

Therefore, many players have no idea how many and what divine characters are in the game.

Probability of getting a divine character

The probability of getting a divine character in Anime Fighters Simulator is unknown.

You cannot see the probability of getting a divine character in the list of characters from a star, just like you can’t with secret characters.

We do, however, know that the probability of getting a divine character is lower than getting a secret character.

Many players believe that it is 5-20 times harder to obtain a divine character than a secret one.

If that’s true, the probability of getting a divine character in Anime Fighters Simulator would be between one in around a million and one in around 20 million.

It is also likely that the probability of getting a divine character depends on how strong it is, which would mean that there is a higher probability of getting a Vegetable than an Engineered Alien.

Furthermore, the probability of getting a divine character is probably higher the later the world in which you are opening stars.

We do not have any good estimates yet on any of this nor any official information from the developers, though.

We’ll keep this guide updated when new information regarding divine characters is released or estimated by the community.

Is there a divine pity in Anime Fighters Simulator?

No, there is no divine pity in Anime Fighters Simulator. You are not guaranteed to get a divine character after a certain number of star opens.

You are only guaranteed to get a legendary character and later a mythical character after opening a certain number of stars because of the legendary and mythical pity in the game.

Just like there is no divine pity in the game, there is no secret pity either.

For both divine and secret characters, you are left entirely up to the probabilities of getting them.

That’s how to get divine characters in Anime Fighters Simulator, as well as all the information you need on them.
