You are currently viewing Stardew Valley – What Gifts Does Robin Like?

Robin is one of the most important villagers in Stardew Valley. She is the only person that can provide you with buildings and upgrades for your farm and resources to craft a lot of important items. Though you won’t get any discounts if you befriend her, you should still give her a gift here and there.

Relationships in Stardew Valley are defined by hearts, which visually show your total friendship points. You can have any number of hearts from 0 to 10 with most normal NPCs and can even get as high as 14 with your spouse.

One of the reasons why you might want to befriend Robin is that she will give you two crafting recipes as she becomes more attached to you, along with an extra cooking recipe and 50x Wood at 3 hearts.

Though Robin likes and loves quite a few gifts/items in Stardew Valley, the best item that you can give her is Peaches, which you will easily produce if you like Fruit Trees.

How Friendship Works and Why You Should Give Gifts

To befriend NPCs in Stardew Valley, you will have to give them gifts. Some will love some items, while others will hate them. Depending on their reaction, you will get different friendship points.

In Stardew Valley, 10 friendship hearts are the usual cap for each villager. The limit with Robin is 10 hearts, as you cannot romance this married woman.

To get hearts with Robin, you will need to start getting friendship points with her.

Each heart in Stardew Valley is worth 250 friendship points, which will start slowly disappearing as time passes.

The best way to befriend someone is to give them gifts they love. This will increase your relationship with them by 80 friendship points.

If you don’t have those items, you can also give them liked items, which will increase the relationship by 45 friendship points.

As long as you don’t give them disliked or hated items, you will only improve your relationship with NPCs by giving gifts. Since you only lose 2 points a day with them, the liked gifts will usually be enough.

Best Gift to Give Robin

There aren’t a lot of items that Robin likes/loves in Stardew Valley, so you will have to make do with this small selection of gifts.

In the early game, the best gift you can give Robin is Milk. Even though she only likes it, you can get daily Milk from Cows and give some of it to her every week.

You could also give her some of the Quartz you can get from the Mines since you will probably have more than you need.

Hardwood won’t be available until you get into the mid-game, at which point you should have an abundance of Peaches.

Once you get the Greenhouse, you should plant all the possible Fruit Trees in there, including the Peach Tree. At this point, you should start getting Peaches every day, so you can easily just keep two to give Robin each week.

Goat Cheese would be a waste of money, and Spaghetti is a bit complicated to make.

So, the Peach is the only viable loved gift that you can give Robin in Stardew Valley. Now, all you need to do is find her and give her Peaches every week.
